NetGuru Manager is a Microsoft Windows based object-oriented designing and drawing package developed specifically for network professionals. NetGuru Manager intuitively lets the user plan, draw, design, validate, illustrate and document the network. NetGuru Manager supports Ethernet, token ring, Arcnet, Internet and other topologies. The "Rule Based" Intelligent Objects permit a design's validation by comparing the design to the industry standards. Moreover the network components can be priced out. Additionally the module has an InfoBase which stores all the data related to the components of the network. It lets the user print customized reports. 	NetGuru Simulator is a fully functional network simulation module that integrates with the NetGuru Manager. It allows the user to simulate any valid design generated by NetGuru Manager. Using the pre-developed design; the user needs toidentify which nodes and networks should take part in the simulation. User can also identify what network loads should be generated by each of the stations in the network by either indicating which application is most frequently used on the nodes, or by explicitly entering the load parameters such as the mean packet arrival rate and the average size of the packet. During and after a simulation the user has various tools in the module to graphically and textually depict the throughput, response time, transfer rate, media and channel utilization.
	NetGuru Book in an on-line multimedia reference that allows the professional to get comprehensive knowledge about computer networks and telecommunications. NetBook is an intuitively designed Microsoft Windows based product and features attractive graphs, pictures and images in color. Animation has been used to depict the many aspects of computer networking. It has VCR type buttons to turn pages, bookmarks, graphics and animation. "Hot words" allow the user to access any topics that are inter-related hyperlinks. It can be integrated with NetGuru Manager for on-line look up while designing the network.
